The whole mission was about saving a life - Ray Palmer's. But killing someone else pretty much nullifies all the virtue of the exercise.

I'm surprised they did that in a throwaway line. They pretty much clipped any chance of any crossover storytelling with Earth-2 Oliver. They may regret that later.
