Novellas can be and are often published on their own. They are books. It didn't say novels.

"In Capote’s hands, Giddens is not just a trembling governess, but a
woman so traumatized by the “obscene” darkness of adult desires that
she’s practically fetishized the purity of childhood."

WHOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAA *scanners gif*

What character did he play? The guy who says "Yesssssss?"

You're not paying attention at all if you think the United States isn't firmly entrenched in '90s nostalgia. It has been for a few years now. It's about the music and the movies and the TV and the fashion.

Alternate take: Yes he would.

Could have used some Stingy and Battery.

Thank God.

"it's pretty played out by this point." That describes the entirety of Parks and Rec.

Yeah… well… Dracula called and he's coming over tonight for you and I said 'OK.'

Eh, no he isn't. Does literally every person know who Thom Yorke is? no. Is there even at least one person in every village who knows who Thom Yorke is? no. I doubt you could say that about anyone (seriously). He is still world famous.

He's hardly ever sick at SEAAAAA.

Patrick Bateman, American Psycho
Patrick Star I like.

Last Year at Marienbad?

Speaking as another person one or more of these letters describe, I freaking love "queer." I'm not into identity politics in general and find it much more freeing as a word. 'Gay' literally means happy, and while that isn't a negative, it's also not really on-message either.

Fincher is totally underwhelming. Also, it's an adaptation of Gone Girl. For me, it doesn't get more underwhelming. Anderson is exciting, but one movie does not a festival make, and the NYFF has a reputation for having incredible line-ups. So compared to years past, this is really boring. A new Godard is exciting too,

NYFF is the classiest film festival in America (er… at least in NYC), but this line-up looks pretty underwhelming. The only screening I got tickets for is Eden because I'm an unapologetic Daft Punk fan-boy.

You can't escape the danger!

There better be a 20 minute sequence in which he gets a bunch of tattoos.

The Otto Show is one of my favorite episodes. To each his own.
