I was ok with Insidious until Darth Maul showed up.

I thought Sansa gave Brienne a letter when she sent her off and then sent the other letter (we thought was to Littlefinger) unbeknownst to Jon? Why would she send a letter to Brienne? Just to make it more legit?

Spoon "The Agony Of Laffitte/Laffitte Don't Fail Me Now"

Huh. Weird. I'd always assumed it was Carpenter from the soundtrack.

Yeah, Carpenter scored The Thing, not Morricone.

Travolta's wig in The Forger is much worse than Swordfish.

What about the monster from Dan Simmons' The Terror?

Probably the climax of Mr. Show's "Monster Parties: Fact Or Fiction" or the part in "Voiceover" where Bob breaks character and laughs at "Mr. Pickles Funtime Abortion Clinic…We'll bring out the kid in you"

These reviews are so much better than actually watching the show.

Well, damn. I guess I'll have to give The Shield a watch.

Is 6 A's in a row some kind of A.V. Club record?

Two that I love that weren't mentioned.

This was alright. C- is probably what it deserved. Monsters were cgi and didn't really care about the characters. Better idea than another torture porn or haunted doll/house/etc movie though.

I laughed at this episode a lot. It probably doesn't have the best re-watchability and inside jokes though.

I've found Apex Predator in Boston and Portland OR

My favorite line was Charlie's "Well you would enjoy it more than I would" at Mac's suggestion that he might shove heroin up his ass again.

    Haha

Someone said it's inferred he learned it from watching Loomis driving him to the asylum.

Wrong. You see it when Judith is killed, on the truck driver he kills and on Laurie after her arm gets slashed.

I love all of the FD movies. I know they're somewhat awful but they're preferable to Saw and Paranormal Activity, to me at least. I think my favorite is 2 for the amazing opening sequence.
