I should've expanded on that. It only reminded me of MGS in the way Chloe was telling Jack where all the bad guys were and when it showed her satellite feed it looked like the radar in MGS. Otherwise, your suggestion was more spot on.

The scene on the boat reminded me of Metal Gear Solid a bit.
