Kinja is so bad it actually makes me long for Peter Thiel to come back and finish it off.

Trying to see all the comments on a Kinja article makes me feel like Sisyphus - there's always another "load more comments" to click.

The sad thing is that 4chan, a legendarily primitive bare bones site, has more functionality than Crapja, in that they have a way to show who is replying to who.

"It's only a matter of time before we being addressing feedback from commenters."

Exactly. Commentators just suck up resources without providing comparable additional page views. That's why they don't give a shit about them.

"I know this utterly sucks for you"

Commenting is just a drain on their resources as far as they're concerned. They'd rather have the silent ad clicks.

I have a soft spot for that kind of thing. Like Basterds ending with them massacring the high command.

I miss The Dissolve.

You can ask whatever questions you like. It's just that there's only one answer.

I don't think I've ever had a single post approved on any kinja site ever, so I will be automatically back to lurking I guess.

The gist I'm getting is that the move to Kinja will be really good for you, and you haven't quite figured out why your audience hates it when it's so very good for you. So you're trying to once again explain why it's very good for you in the hopes that your audience will therefore see how good it is for you and

"And then the ship sinks."
"SIS! Why did you ruin it for me?!"

Has he admitted to making a mistake in giving Westeros such an absurdly long recorded history yet?

"and (as early adopters discovered when their copy of Batman Forever kept getting stuck 15 minutes in), DVDs are far more fragile than their practically indestructible predecessors."

Did you see the Night King? Calves the size of cantaloupes!

A typical conversation between Dany and her advisers for the last several seasons:
Dany: "A bad thing happened, I'm going to murder absolutely everyone."
Advisers: "No, don't do that, you'd kill a lot of innocents too!"
Dany: "OK, I guess I won't."
Advisers: "Wow, you are so moral and represent something better for the

"I could care less"

I wonder if they had a conversation back in the day about the why the wall needed to be so high when it's magic anyway.

Ha, that was actually my first thought too! Like Dany was going to go "why is there fresh rock dust and chips under these ancient carvings?"
