Doesn't he have a claim on the Iron Throne?

She may not have finished the main story missions, but she did the side quests!

Honestly I think one of the deaths that would upset me the most at this point on the show would be if one of the dragons gets killed. There's only three! They need all the members they can get!

The story seems to be that the Others went out of control and the Children had to fight off their own creations.

Or a punch in the dic…oh.

"there are 2 more"

I think it would fit into Dany's overall series arc. That's where she does the same kind of things that the designated villainous rulers are doing, and everybody falls over themselves to talk about how different she is and how she's going to change everything. So the series ending with the same old shit being

She got the movie version of assassin training. You know, where you become a deadly one on one fighter, even though the whole point of being an assassin is to not get into duels like that.

Make the riddle "why would anyone vote for Trump to be the President?" and you'll keep everyone out!

Its satire doesn't hold up, apparently. I find it very unclear based on her article (blog post). She mostly complains about the level design, which if my dim memory serves is a well-founded complaint, but what does that have to do with the satire?

This. Avclub seems determine to remind me why I shouldn't come here.

I've never really been sure where Dany gets off calling Robert a usurper when the whole Targaryen claim to the throne rests on pretty much the same grounds as his.

So what you're saying is that a true patriot would sabotage his golf carts so he has to walk, right?

You mean Shitefart.

Bran's super sexist and only respects men's private information?

In that case Jon is the legitimate king (since the show is clearly not going to do whatever the hell the books are doing with Aegon). Oh snap, Dany.

Do Targaryen's have a special standard of marriage? Perhaps that's why the Kings Guard were there.

Heh, it's actually not impossible.

"Jon, you're a Targaryen."
"What?! But, how?"
"It's a long story so I'm not going to explain anything. Later!"

My guess is that this season would resolve the conflict between the crowns, and then the last season would be the zombie war. But I'm not so sure about that anymore.
