I think they all experience the same seasons, but winters are just way more intense in Westeros because of it being connected to the Land of Always Winter.
As to the white walkers, people have theorized that, because they're not really living, they can travel under water. But nobody really knows for sure.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only other time we've seen the two of them have sex (when Bran caught them in episode one) wasn't Cersei also telling Jaime "no" and he went ahead anyway? I'm not sure if that changes this discussion, but I feel like it should be noted.
