"Stephen Colbert" or Stephen Colbert?
"Stephen Colbert" or Stephen Colbert?
Also too young to understand the references, but I think I muddled through anyhow. But boy, was the conflict and resolution rushed. More rushed than an eighties cartoon, even.
I am so, so excited for this.
With one chapter being released every month, that series kept me hooked literally years. This was before I had started reading any western comics, so I was not used to such a long wait time between chapters of one work.
Wasn't as good as John Dies at the End, IMO.
Old Man's War was pretty great! I didn't like the sequels as much, but it was a light, quick,k read, and quite funny!
Oh man what a trip! I went through a phase in my early teens where I think I read literally everything Lloyd Alexander had written! He's great, but tends to do the same types of things over and over….
I didn't like the first anime series! I think that I loved the books so much that as soon as even a little divergence happened I noped out of it…
I was surprised at how well put together and accessible The Name of the Wind was! Great read.
Second on Invisible Cities. What an amazing read, with some of the best use of imagery I've ever had the pleasure of reading.
My favourite Calvino still has to be Invisible Cities though. Talk about a treat!
Infinite Jest! The book is one of my bucket list books, and I've started it countless times before, only to be daunted by its size and stop reading pages in. This time, however, I seem to be sucked in, and love it so far. I'm only like 15% in, but I have high hopes of finishing it this time!
They call him The Chameleon. Because of his slender frame and his big wet eyes.
The only thing I'd want to watch on it is the real time GPS location of my shipments.
Oh good! BTW, anybody fall for that cruel April Fools Joke from Hulu?
Yeah, but they stuck with it. And they did keep pushing Robin on us for quite awhile. I think there was always a small faction that liked Robin and Ted together as well..
No, not lame at all. And the way that Liz Lemon's speech to Tracy Jordan seemed to be what she was trying to say to the whole cast, and encapsulated every summer camp I'd ever been to, and so many of my college friends….
Yup. 30 Rock nailed it. And my heart. Right in the feelings-spot.
No, I was agreeing with you. I think that people do feel that they are "owed" a specific ending after awhile, especially when they've invested so much into a show. I can see why people are upset, even though I'm not, personally.
Yeah. I like that he was fully invested in his wife, for however long they had together. What I meant was more in the run of the show, he would always circle back to Robin, no matter who he had loved in the mean time. Now that the series is over, I guess it made sense he circled back to her one final time.
