I ended up watching this episode pretty much on a whim last night with my lady, and we were both surprised at how interested we were in how it would turn out. The overall strength of the cast helps considerably.

It's still odd to me that this hasn't already been made. Scarlett is very marketable. Lucy made so much more money than it should have when you break it down, and its entire marketing was based around "Scarlett Johansson has powers and is doing things!" Even if they didn't want to get especially creative or…
I think that would result in less publicity.
Well, for "free."
Finally, a carrier for my ridiculous dog.
"Oh god, I just made myself a little sick." I assume Miike says this to himself often while smiling when he's writing some of his scripts.
That said, a Mulan that ends when the heroine pulls out her own fiery soul from her chest and throws it at the enemy would be pretty priceless.
Is Tsui Hark busy? I mean, he's seemingly always busy, but is he too busy.
And/or vomit!
Well now I'll be at least mildly disappointed if they hire anyone else to do it.
On the contrary, it may be the best idea.
I'm presuming the live action Mulan is going to go the fantasy/action/drama route, and I love me some Crouching Tiger, so I'm inclined to think I would have loved this. Alas, not to be.
"Colonel Sanders, why did you bring this bucket of KFC to Buckingham Palace?"
"The king ordered it!"
That pic looks like the prompt for a horror short story contest.
I've never actually played this game, and this is actually the first I've ever heard of "Apples to Apples." I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't even own a humanity.
It's so weird that Thriller was written to be a hit, and then was not just a hit, but a super-hit. It's such a great pop song, and yet it's basically a novelty song. It's thematically maybe one step past "The Monster Mash," it name drops Jaws and Alien, it has almost kitschy scary sound effects popping in behind the…
I did too. I don't like Kanell, and when I watch I get the sense that Russillo doesn't particularly care for him either. Not that he actively dislikes him, but that he just sort of tolerates him. Meanwhile, Russillo himself really needs a good partner to be at his best.
Well, Skip has now moved on to the abyss of FS1, along with the likes of Cowherd and Whitlock, where his show is apparently getting abysmal ratings because hardly anyone watches FS1.
Yes, but the Phanatic, presumably, does not have a penis. Unless that's actually the thing that's on its face.
I think Keaton has the best portrayal for matching the movie he was in. I like how different the Batman movies / franchises have all end up being, even if the quality is all over the place. But Keaton's weird, aloof Bruce Wayne and cartoonishly intense Batman in Burton's world is a great fit.
I maintain that Kilmer, in a better movie, would have been a perfect Batman. I like Bale, but Kilmer in his prime would have been notably better in the Dark Knight films, in my opinion. He'd have been extraordinarily believable doing the smug, spoiled, Bruce Wayne act, and stoically stern to the point of borderline…
