Gore isn't the lone signifier of whether or not it's a horror movie. Halloween doesn't feature any gore whatsoever and no one would dispute it's a horror film. Alien deliberately sets itself up as a horror movie and features a variety of intentional scares throughout, including multiple jump-scares.

Interestingly enough, the notion that if something is good it can't "really" be horror is also something that too many authors / critics / readers seem to believe. It's sort of weird to see my beloved horror genre praised in that first paragraph seemingly at the unnecessary slight of science fiction

You would lose that bet fam. I've had no problems with active participation in the potential death of a threat in the past. No reason to think that wouldn't carry over to a threat the magnitude of Donald Trump.

Fuck that. More than that one thing separates me from them, and I can't promise I wouldn't walk away.

I didn't know about this podcast before reading this article. Just starting my 2nd episode and it's almost exactly what I hoped it would be.

"Delight," strangely enough.

"1 out of every 3 cowboys was black, but if you watch TV you'll never know that."

Because you swing them around during warfare in order to hack the enemy to death.

I'm not saying it should lower the value of anyone's opinions, just that it's the way things are lining up now.

Goddammit!

Not if they have college degrees!
Really doe, according to 538, Trump is actually doing worse with white voters than Romney because his additions from those without a degree can't match his losses from those who do have a degree.

Obligatory Trump sucks comment… Now with that out of the way, I just want to point out how Jack Black White looks like Vincent Price and David Blaine got merged in a transporter accident in that header pic.

It doesn't even mesh with what *his* version of the Joker would do. From what we saw, his version of the Joker was just your garden variety "crazy" movie crime boss.

I can think of ONE thing. You know what I'm talking about. Eh, eh? *nudge, wink*

Now now, no need to call for murder. Just have Suge hang Leto upside down over a hotel balcony.

This movie was a mess as it was. I imagine an extended cut would just pad the mess out. It had some moments, and I was really hoping it would be solid, but it's quite bad, especially that last act and fight scene, with the action staged like an unimaginative kid playing alone with his action figures.

I think there's a clause in the Principles of Dignity Handbook stating "if it would look cool in Italy, you get an automatic free pass".

Angela Bassett still should have been the only choice to play Storm, though. I think she might have even been able to salvage that infamous "toad struck by lightning" line. It's meant to be a threat, and yeah it's goofy and awkward, but I can picture Bassett, with that voice and a little menacing smirk, landing the

Ah yes. I've partially seen quite a few movies I never would have bothered with while donating plasma on the occasions when I'd forgotten to bring a book, particularly on those days when I hadn't drank enough water the day(s) before so the process took forever. I've actually thought of resuming it recently, just for

Yeah. If you're getting a check for it, you need to be a professional about it. You're on the clock, do the gig, put in the effort.
