I think the villians in this show are actually pretty complex, I'd argue even more complex than any villain in the Marvel movies. Cal, Jiaying and Ward are all complex villians that are doing things that aren't completely evil.

I thought Kevin Feige said the reason she wasn't in AoU is because he wanted the audience to know how she became who she was. Which means Captain Marvel is actually going going to be an origin story.

Isn't that what almost every actor/actress in Avengers does? I mean AoU was full of tag lines, wayyyy more than usual. It seems more like a Marvel/Disney thing rather than the show.
