I think Santiago could make a great lead, but then the show would *really* be the cop version of Parks & Rec.

Happy birthday!!!

Community is the type of show that was practically created for Kickstarter.

The fact that Fox didn't give this more of a push is very strange. It's a really good show with a lot of acclaim, and I feel like it has potential to at least do decently well. I mean, could it really do any worse than Dads?

The show is about a bunch of terrible soldiers whose job is mostly to scrub the good soliders' tanks so their lack of proper gear usage seems about right.

The comedies they have so far have much more of a "quality" vibe than a "broad" vibe too, between this and the Tina Fey sitcom.

I don't know whether to blame Disqus or AutoCorrect so I'm gonna blame BOTH.

I just think "cocky douchebag" works okay in a side part but gets a little overwhelming in the lead role. It would work if the show called him out on his shit more, but they mostly don't, although they're starting to a bit (I like that they had him screw up and face both professional and personal consequences for it…

A Gina-centric Brooklyn Nine Nine would be pretty amazing but it could probably only air on HBO.

This episode really changes completely on repeat viewings, as soon as you figure out just what the hell it is doing. Once you get on its wavelength, it's pretty great, although not perfect.

All of Enlightened's second season was made avaliable to critics before it aired (8 episodes).

I agree completely. Their entire relationship is just the show telling us over and over again AREN'T THEY SO CUTE without really showing why they like each other or what they do for each other or…anything.

Yeah, the use of music in this episode was really excellent.

I just wish there were any plots about them that weren't simply about how cute they are together.

It's very promising to see that Community upticked Parks' numbers (and visa versa), which in turn helped the entire line-up. It's like they're life partners, refusing to give each other up. Cute!

She basically suggested that Leslie was better than Pawnee, which has been the running thread of this season.

Jen Barker is a great foil for Leslie. Too bad they can't keep her around full-time.

I'm really missing Britta. Hope we get more of her in the coming weeks.

I think it's that kind of episode. It's really weird and off-putting on first viewing, but a little more approachable once you realize what it's doing.

See, I thought it was really funny too. Seems a lot of people disagree with that, though.
