It could be that Robbie is more dangerous than ever, both in 1996 and in 2016. Just like Frank, we have a man whose destiny is so altered by time messages that his every action propagates forward as it happens in "real time." He is what I call a "pinger."

Even worse than torturing the Deacon was her threat to shoot anyone who came into the bathroom until he talked. She seemed to be prepared to kill her fellow police officers, shoot her way out of the station, and get back on the radio with Frank with whatever new information she forced out of Joe. This was nuts. It

Gordo Sr. may still have a role to play. Perhaps he's Robbie's lawyer, and he is feeding him information gleaned by listening in on the radio conversations between Frank and Raimy.

My theory of the stolen car is probably the answer. But it was not reported stolen. Possibly Raimy's reaction to the name was because in the back of her mind she remembers Doris Perkins as the name of a missing nurse, a possible Nightingale victim.

The next episode confirms your theory quite well. I think they gave Robbie a continuity-flawed leap in age and strength, but it looks like he could have done it. And Joe is covering for him, as you suggested. Kudos!

One possibility is that the NK found out how to use time messages. Instead of giving up after three or four victims he got the confidence to keep on going.

I agree with you that a twist like that would be very nice, and it should be done. I just don't believe it will involve Joe's family. Robbie and Meghan would be starting too young not to need a lot of help in 1996, and if Joe does too much it's not enough of a twist; he's just a serial killer with a young assistant.

Moseby back at work could be from a timeline shift. The accident was from a vehicle pursuit. No manhunt for Deacon Joe would mean different police car movements. Maybe Kyle was pursuing a vehicle that he thought might be Joe's.

It's still weird timing. Joe had Meghan captured already, so no new "stories" were going to come out. He had seen police cars outside his house earlier. Moving out evidence under their noses would be difficult. Even if they searched they were unlikely to find a walled-off closet. Wasn't it a lot riskier to break it

The Deacon must also take an active part in the stalkings and abductions, based on the testimony of Eva Salinas. He was also the would-be abductor of Amanda Baldwin, since the bare-handed attacker was able to subdue Frank, an armed, street-hardened cop, enough to steal a picture from his wallet.

It seems that the Meghan and Robbie theories require an older active accomplice or mentor, probably the Deacon. That's fine.

We didn't get a good look at him on the ground at the end. He may have grown up to have a more powerful physique. He might have been able to disguise himself for the DMV photo. Or maybe he just drove a car belonging to someone else, either stolen or borrowed.

Don't forget Eva Salinas. She said, "The man, he took my mommy" and also said he didn't always wear his hood. Though she became an attention-seeking liar later in life, I believe she was telling the truth as she saw it when she was a little girl.

They don't seem to be on the same side (or not any more). Who injured Robbie? Possibly the Deacon, as the result of a fight to get Meghan away from him. I also suspect Robbie now goes by the name "Doris Perkins" (the photo on the driver's license looks tough, like a rugby player).

I'm not convinced the brother is the killer. Meghan was about 17 in 1996, and her brother was younger. The first victim disappeared around 1994, when he would be less than 15. Pretty young for a serial killer, I would think.

Sometime between 1996 and 2016, in the timeline before the kidnapping of Deacon Joe, the Deacon must have decided to wall off the closet containing the evidence of his crime (the murder of his wife). In that timeline, for some reason, he suddenly decided to break open the wall and get the evidence out of the house.

Deacon Joe was acting suspiciously enough that I believe he did kill his wife, and that he concealed some evidence in the closet (possibly including her body). The real killer (Gordo Sr. in my theory) has had time to investigate for a possible fall guy and lay a false trail to him. All he needed to supply (if the body

Not the younger Gordo. He was only ten when Raimy's mom was killed. I call Big Gordo as the real Nightengale. He's a criminal lawyer and he would know how to frame Deacon Joe. I also believe he has learned the secret of the ham radio and has sent himself messages that keep him one step ahead.

I don't believe Deacon Joe is the Nightingale Killer either. There's no good explanation for why he would conveniently break open that hidden room for Raimy to find. The real killer has set this up somehow, planting the body there and calling Joe about it.
