"America" is a name commonly recognized to refer to the USA, NOT to Canada. Someone living in Canada is not called "an American." North America does not = America. You're welcome for the mini-education.

Despite the name, it always WAS a Canadian-based company; their Montreal store proudly displayed a sign stating that fact. Glad they're gone.
