I'm surprised they didn't make a nod to being an obvious love interest/foil for Rebecca too. Unless they're subverting that expectation as well.

I miss how he challenged Rebecca but other than that, I don't really miss him, no matter how chocolaty smooth his voice sounds.

I briefly saw on her iphone chat a message to/from Valencia (unsure which way) saying "free Sunday". So either it just implies that they are still hanging out offscreen (at the very least communicating) or it could be upcoming. There would be a lot to unpack making Valencia aware of this new development with Josh so

Instant chemistry with Rebecca too - there's a similar antagonistic dynamic like she had with Greg and I approve.

Did you see the end of the latest Arrow episode? I have no idea what's going on.

The Elizabeth and Winston scene (their final audience) was a nice call back to their first meeting where she offered him tea and a seat, and he declined both and mildly admonished her for doing so as it was not the done thing - and here, we've come full circle and you see him doing both. Great example of showing not

It's also why I suspect they had Oliver take Kara out of the game for a short period because they can't have her single-handedly saving the day - because she would, as she demonstrated when she flew around the world within minutes (with Barry) to put those tracker things on the dominators. It's a real beef I have

I like that idea, especially since Oliver has just created a new squad where they're all just discovering their vigilante selves.

I don't miss Greg at all. I'm really happy that Heather and Valencia are getting screen time, plus everyone else basically.

I want to upvote this a million times, because that was hilariously stupid.

I'm totally ignorant!

Yes, I'm well aware of the homophobia around places on the internet unfortunately, especially if they're making those kinds of comments, gross and juvenile - I'm not sure I'd want a TV show pandering to that cohort of the audience. I'm not saying they will do it, because I don't think they will being realistic about

Yeah I am not at all here for Supergirl and Guardian teaming up, that would be ridiculous. The Guardian story needs to die already.

Hands down funniest moment for me, was when Iris was all "Oliver Queen is the Green Arrow?!" and the look on Barry's face was just priceless, pretty much "I fucked up again".

Finally, an episode that shows Kara actually being super as Supergirl and kicking some ass.

It would get a lot of positive attention I'm telling you, Clarke from The 100? Similar thing (let's not discuss season 3 at all though!).

I'm pulling for a bi or pan Kara, in the hopes that they do something with her chemistry with Lena (I know they won't).

I think you're right in both cases!

I'd argue she's been a greater addition to the show than Mon-El after this episode, there is so much story potential there with both Kara and Supergirl, and I like the fact that she seems unique to Kara's development/story.

I completely forgot that this was the mid season finale, so the wrapping up of things makes sense when I thought they would drag them out longer, J'onn's story and Alex/Maggie.
