The Die Hard batteries haven't been good since the third version, and even those were trying a little bit too hard.

It's like Diet Coke, but with a different combination of carcinogenic chemicals.
I love the half-assed "Thank you" at the end of the last tweet. It gives the decision the same gravity as a tweet from Third Eye Blind announcing that they'll be cancelling their gig at the grand opening of the new Kroger.
The name makes it sound like it's just regular Coke Zero, but with sugar in it. A better name would be Coke, Zero Sugar.
Donald Trump is an asshole.
But Game of Thrones has 2 (?) books left, and Preacher ended its run 17 (!!!) years ago. Obviously some changes are necessary, but some of the choices they've made for the show have been bizarre.
There are a few huge kicks to the soul-crotch, yes.
Jesus De Sade and the Gomorrah People were in San Francisco in the comics. But changing it to LA for the show would be fine, if they even bring in that character.
They have to get to D'Arnonique eventually (a grotesquely obese religious zealot is too good an image for the show to pass up), but I wouldn't be surprised if they skip Jesus De Sade altogether.
I still need to watch Fargo.
I have a feeling watching this show as a massive fan of the book is kinda what watching Game of Thrones is like for readers of those books. But I also have a feeling the departures this show takes from the source material are much more drastic than on Thrones.
Pretty much my conclusion as well. It's just the two flags combined together that always throws me off. The dude is damn proud to be an American, but also damn proud of the people who 160 years ago went to war against the United States.
Then maybe you can help me make sense of the truck I see several times a week flying both the American and Confederate flags. Not stickers on the back window, but full-size flags mounted on the bed of his truck. To me that makes about much sense as an Israeli flag and a Nazi swastika flag on the same vehicle.
I live in a liberal college town in Indiana, but I still see Confederate flag stickers on pickup trucks every day. Whether or not the people who bought the stickers realize what the flag symbolizes (slavery, oppression, treason) doesn't really matter, because as long as that flag is still being printed there are still…
"Two, I cannot think of anybody living who would defend slavery today as a golden age lost. This makes it sound like white Americans are longing for a return to antebellum America and that is frankly insane."
Part of his parole should be a ban from using any electronics invented after 1995.
Good! Now he has time to find out who murdered those two people that he totally didn't murder.
Shaun of the Dead is my favorite zombie movie. Romero is a genius, but sometimes it takes another person to take the formula and make it perfect.
Apparently people seem to interpret Deckard's "We were being hunted!" line as confirmation that he's a replicant, but it seems to me it's referring to Deckard and Rachel going on the run at the end of the first movie. Someone eventually caught up with them, and Rachel was "retired". Hence cranky hermit Deckard in the…
I've never read the books, but I've always thought "Ice and Fire" meant North vs South, White Walkers vs Dragons.
