The problem wasn't that there wasn't enough of the original Alien, it was that there wasn't enough explanation of the Engineers. When the movie ended with the two survivors flying off to the Engineer homeworld, I was optimistic that that sequel would continue exploring that corner of the Alien universe instead of

    I honestly can't tell if you're serious…

I don't know what it will accomplish in the end, but it seems like his reasoning was by firing Comey he could replace him with someone more likely to make sure the investigation ends in a way that's beneficial for the administration.

    That's the joke…

Firing the guy in charge of the investigation into your campaign/administration's possible collusion with a foreign government is more than borderline treason.

Trump person: Remember when we won Michigan? That was fun.

It was like when the Corleones flew Frankie Pentangelli's brother in from Sicily. It's all head games, and it worked.

Something still has to happen for Jimmy to become Saul (and lose Kim?), so I don't think Jimmy's out of the woods just yet. Or maybe his transformation is purely voluntary and done for branding purposes.

Even though Chuck is a vindictive asshole, he's also right. In his breakdown on the witness stand, everything he said about Jimmy was correct. I'll be glad to see him get his, but there's some serious injustice in how it all went down. That part of the Jimmy/Chuck dynamic was always just in the background, and I was

    What's Breaking Bad?

Some people nitpick them to death, but I think it's more fun to enjoy them. Even if a movie has some obvious flaws among the good stuff (like Prometheus), I'd still rather focus on the good and enjoy the flick. Turns out liking stuff is more fun than hating stuff.

It's Villeneuve, Deakins, and Fancher. It'll be good.

I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

One of the best moviegoing experiences I've ever had was seeing the "final cut" of Blade Runner in our local arthouse cinema with its giant screen and blow-your-goddamn-hair-back sound system.

I'm a big fan of the MCU movies and Netflix shows, but I've pretty much ignored the ABC shows (except for Agent Carter, which was mostly great). I don't feel like I'm missing much.

But if they'd gone with the In Rainbows "Pay what you want" distribution model, there's a good chance they would've lost millions, forcing Thom Yorke to sell his piano and Jonny Greenwood to go back to live with the space aliens that dropped him on Earth sometime in 1988.

The 2-disc reissues of the 6 EMI albums from a few years were really, really good. They were done without any input from the band, but whoever put them together did an excellent job, and they're about as complete as they could possibly be. The deluxe version of Pablo Honey even has "Pop Is Dead" on it, and any

I think we'll get one more season at least. This season doesn't feel like it's hurtling towards a series finale.

    "Google hired less white people."

And also Toy Story and its sequels.
