To be fair, the book dropped a couple of hints here and there that Bonnie had an abusive past. I wasn't sure how it would play in the show because they didn't give her the same setup.

I was a little confused by the new Count ending up in the Frankish King's bed. When the King asked permission to sleep with his sister, was that a veiled way of asking to sleep with him? Why didn't he just ask him outright? And then why has the King blatantly shown interest in the sister?

Yeah, I'm hoping the two brothers get taken out. Brutally. Maybe Rollo can smash them into little pieces. But I'm thinking it will eventually be Ragnar who takes them out because they're always on the edge of mutiny.

In Originals timeline, it was only a couple of weeks ago that Stefan showed up looking to hide out at the bar and ran into Klaus and they had the big fight with Aurora etc. If there was a 3 year time jump in the Originals Hope…

Yeah I couldn't understand that either. Sure, Matt and his cop girlfriend killed a couple of town vampires here and there a couple of weeks ago but they showed Mystic Falls being back to normal as if it wasn't just overrun by vampires 5 minutes ago.
