See above. Sometimes it takes reading to the end of the story. It's sort of the identity politics version of "Captain America would never be a nazi!" after one cliffhanger.
Ace-phobic (which I had to look up. What a world!)? It read as the opposite to me. He was painted sympathetically, and at the end of the story, with its clever teenage misunderstanding hi-jinx, he explained to Sabrina that he doesn't like anyone "that way" and they became chums. I found it completely adorable.
I can't believe how much I love North's run. Sabrina became one of the best supporting characters in comics! I often find Zdarsky's humor too self-congratulatory.
