… and Skrillex.
… and Skrillex.
You got me.
I think you are talking about Sam Bee, but I shall allow this.
They are quite common sighting at Czech festivals, seen them twice already. They usually play rather early, so they are perfect to drink to before the loud noises start.
This whole "celtic punk" thing is kinda odd, but gotta say, it always looks like these bands are having fun and they seem to understand how to sell their work.
I am not exactly Dropkick fan, but gotta say that the latest album grows on me on daily basis. It is very fun and feels like everything is exactly as it supposed be.
Their avatars are just the worst!
Well, I spent a lot of time listening to Cohen's You Want It Darker till the end of the year, but I am afraid I am gonna have to disappoint you and say that I am currently stuck on some hippity-hoppity albums.
You doing good, man? How's the lady of the homestead*? Is she dealing with all that lawn-protection of yours?
(Sidebar: Happy new year, GrumPa! Keep it ragin'!)
Despite being an older anagram…
I am no expert on Ty Segall, but his Emotional Mugger worked the best for me so far.
Exciting start of the year. Keeping my eyes (ears?) peeled for Brian Eno, Dropkick Murphys, The Flaming Lips, Run The Jewels, The xx, Cloud Nothings and Ty Segall.
Hilltop Hoods and Astronautalis.
I have somewhat of a hard time returning back to post-Show albums these days, but that one will forever and ever be one of the best albums I have heard, period.
That new Fragile version is worth attention as well.
Skrillex - Equinox
To you too, man!
I dig the Star Wars Headspace album. It is a neat idea and while maybe not to your liking, it does showcase strengths and possibilities of electronic music production.
Seen it 4 times and still can't get enough of it.
