I've watched it several times since it's been on Netflix. I love that whole era and all the personalities. I don't think my constitution would have held up to it all, but I would have loved to be a fly on the wall.

I'm friends with Jayne on Facebook and she is a hoot. She's liked pictures of my cats and once gave me advice on how to mount my TV antenna for better reception. She's also constantly ranting against anti-Semites.

Everyone who hasn't: find a way to see Local Hero immediately. It's perfect.

Michael Fassbender in a nazi uniform is a perfectly cromulent reason.

I've loved him since he was creepy Ben Franklin. He's a goddamn national treasure.

Don't talk about Ken Marino like that!

Julian Barratt is pretty much my idea of a perfect man.

I am also looking forward to new Kroll Show episodes next week.

"Every dumb motherfucker watches 'Sons,' man."
I love ZMF.

When we watch old movies, my husband is always adding actresses to his "time machine list" which is our variation on that joke that a lot of couples have about the five unattainable people you'd give your SO permission to sleep with. I never had anyone I wanted to add to my list until I saw this movie again recently.

Thank you! It was bothering me. I couldn't place her. Mark Wahlberg and the unicorns would be proud.

She was the one to root for in season one. I think my only favorites right now are Sansa (show and book) and Theon (book only). I feel like everyone else has gone to pasture, as you said. I kind of worry about the upcoming seasons as they adapt the upcoming meandering books.

I'm perplexed by people who say that Daenerys is their favorite character. My husband and my friend are both show-only people, and she is their favorite. I can't remember how I felt about her when I was only a book or two into this thing, but at this point she just makes me feel tired and I actively do not want her to
