    Technically speaking, he was given a government position - but effectively; it was the local authorities of his native region that gave him the job; and that's who he works for. The federal government in Moscow had nothing to do with the decision and probably didn't even hear of it.

    America sounds like a pretty fucked up place to me; you know, based solely off Hollywood depictions.
    They do make some good movies though (less lately). I'm sure there's other good stuff happening there too.
