Cool?  I dunno, probably not, but I love them wholeheartedly - well, up to Seventh Sojourn (agree with what Dr. Mike said completely, except that I sincerely dig Days of Future Passed, too).  Real hit and miss after that, though Long Distance Voyager is terrific, outside of the radio hits (my least favorite tracks on

The last twenty-or-so seconds of Bike by Pink Floyd freaked 13 year old me out back in the day.  The whole last minute and a half clockwork breakdown is unsettling enough, but the evil laughing ducks I just wasn't ready for.  Syd Barrett, you crazy diamond, you…

The Wacky Circumference!

Yeah, I know.  I don't think it's terrible (I have a feeling that'd be my reaction to Ladykillers, one reason I've never watched it), it's just occupying last place on my Coen Bro list.

Know what I mean?  Nudge nudge.

I don't know if I can bring myself to see the Ladykillers.  The original is bloody transcendent, and it still seems weird for them to have remade it (whereas True Grit was "a more faithful adaptation of the novel, rather than a remake of a decent John Wayne movie", so I tell myself).

Yeah… kinda.  I suppose there was a bit of disappointment mixed in with the euphoria.  I've heard for years how his shows could be somewhat challenging.  I'm quite certain Dylan does what he wants, full stop.  I think that Tempest reveals his current voice, both what he sounds like and what he's got to say, quite

The only Straits tune he did was So Far Away, for his encore.  I'm with you in that I've not heard anything preventing him, or making him reluctant to, revisit his Dire Straits songs.  He's released something like seven solo albums, so I suppose he's concentrating on those.
