I was actually a fan of this show. It was silly, and kinda middle of the road, but it was nice to see plus-sized leads with personality and the show had a little bit of heart.

I think that's nearly all nostalgia-based endeavors these days….

Sadly, this is true. I wanted Buster and Babs to get their comeuppance ONCE. There's also a LOT of stupid parodies, especially toward the end of the series. (the SNL episode is one)

I don't hate Adam Sandler. I enjoyed Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, Click, Punch Drunk Love, and yes, the Waterboy (even though I think that was more Kathy Bates, honestly.)

I was JUST thinking that.

You didn't miss much. But didnt they add kids to the show to make it more like the rest of the TGIF shows?

Surprisingly, the CBS season was the least crazy of the latter day seasons.

What, no Between the Lions? Blasphemy!

In both of their defenses…

For some reason the maya Angelou stamp joke had me cracking up. I don't know why.

Good one.

There are bright spots in the film- the setting, the music, and Micheal Jackson, but when you have a star that's about 15 years too old for the part and playing it more "escaped mental patient" over "shy schoolteacher," of course it doesn't go well.

Wait…I could get ITV and Sky on my TV in the US? Yes please.

I think Two Broke Girls KNOWS its a bad sitcom. Ive watched it a few times- and between the jokes, obnoxious audience, the return to status quo at the end of each show, and the WOOOO whenever Jennifer Coolidge comes on screen, It seems like theyre saying "Yeah, we're bad- and we dont care."

Let's not forget her ridiculously accurate shakira impression…

"Marge I agree with you in theory. In theory, Communism works. In theory."

I can't believe i'm saying this, but i almost want them to time jump the series, even a year or two, just to change it up.

I'm first to admit, I actually-gasp- enjoy modern day simpsons shows, especially the ones above. I actually think the change in act break structure helped the show. My concern in the last two seasons are the gimmicks- the Family Guy crossover, the Futurama crossover, the "major death tease" and the Alien adventure. I
