Who said anything about Breaking Bad or The Killing? The show doesn't need to be Breaking Bad (Seriously, where is this comparison coming from?) but it also shouldn't sacrifice character for the sake of a plot that often doesn't make any sense.

B- feels very generous, to be honest, the writing on this show is incredibly lazy.
