Ya.. I'd say the title "Sunk costs" most aptly applies to Kim. When Jimmy was giving the speech about not letting all the work they've done be destroyed I felt (from the outside) like the ship had already sailed. Kim is a smart lawyer but she can't see how far gone (or futile) the situation is because she's being sold

    This show is incredible…

Ya.. the courier is also in Gus' employ in BB.

My wife got the Microphone immediately… but she's an audio engineer. I was just glad to have such beautiful and artistic frames back. Cinematic creativity is never in low supply…

I would agree… it was fine. The previous 2 premiers were stellar. But that's just my feeling… I suspect it will hit stride and be another great season… but nobody on screen in the premier captivated me the way the players did in the first two seasons. Again… the bar is really high

In the reviewers defense B+ is the lowest grade Fargo has gotten here. None of season 2 got less than A- and there were 3 B+ in Season 1. So relatively… B+ doesn't meet the high bar Fargo has set itself. Still pretty awesome though compared to other series'

In the preview (the one with the diner and the cop walking in) I thought it looked the Americans… the man was clearly in disguise… So I'm inclined to agree the makeup isn't top notch… like the intent was more to obscure Ewen than to make a realistic looking guy.

It hadn't occurred to me until I read this review…

If I'm being honest… I thought it was me. Maybe having seen too much of it at this point. I found some of it off putting don'tchaknow… But I'll choose to believe you are correct and they just weren't as good at it.

To confirm… The New secretary (for Saul) and the courier (For gus) are both in BB yes? I like.

Ya… That was awesome. Another commenter noted that the director didn't spoon feed it by zooming. But it was evident if you were looking.

    Gus Fring WAS BB IMO.

The tape actually being worthless is some what irrelevant. All that matters is that Jimmy believes Chuck has a purpose for it. To that extent I feel they walked the tight-rope well. It has to exist in the grey area where cases could be made either way. This uncertainty is the catalyst for Chuck's plan… and Jimmy's

Checkered history could be a factor…

    You're a little crooked…

I agree this is a tight rope.. (Gus is awesome… & attention grabbing) but I suspect they can walk it fine. They haven't mis-stepped yet. My biggest concern frankly, is that I like Jimmy. The closer he gets to being Saul, the more I'll miss the Jimmy McGill show.

    Librarian episode.

    It's in the list… Oldies but young 'uns… S5E17. Anna…. oh ana… Hmmm-hmmm-Hi-iiiiim ;-P.

I don't think she does "outraged" very well. Every time she raises her voice it seems to lose whatever punch it should have. The character is great.. but the actress seems to have a much better talent for weighted subtlety than emotional outbursts… just my 2

    agree… on both counts.
