Cersie… Margery… Sansa… Dany and Yara… Lady Olenna and now the sand snakes and Elaria in Dorne… This show could be the crown jewel of the Women's network. Any men with power?? and heroic leaders say.. less dumb than Jon? Oh and Lyanna Mormont and Arya Stark vs.. Robyn, Tommen, Rickon… HAHA! The moral of the story this

killing the Sand snakes would have been a tied up end… Killing the peace loving Doran is the opposite of that. Now the city of Dorne want war… and the people in charge want Lannister blood. Mercifully.. they plot off screen.

you have no hard evidence to prove that… ;-P next week we'll talk.

I really enjoyed that conversation about loyal vs starving… And I guess in a way that is the trade off of having no Northern conspiracy… I mean his Father told him that people will turn on you if you are too cruel and not diplomatic to some degree. So while I am disappointed that this never happened with any northern

The letter brienne had was a different one. After they left she sent another letter via raven. This was to request assistance from littlefinger when she had previously told him to beat it. It's possible that he was coming anyway…

I think it had double meaning… I think you're right… and that speaks to her whole "you will be forgotten speech"… But also the cruelty that she now has the stomach for (smiling at dogs eating your enemy) is from Ramsay… and now it's part of her for better or worse

    1. The battle was directed beautifully as usual
    2. The battle was one sided and looked finished when another army rode in to save the day as usual
    3. I genuinely thought Jon Snow could be re-killed so, good on them for that "buried alive" scene and how tense it was
    4. They have CLEARLY leaned heavy on fan service this

Season 4 I believe… Littlefinger planned the whole thing.

I agree the writing of this conflict seems to have been phoned in… Quite a let down (much like Arya's "resolution") on that front… But it certainly was fun to look at.

It felt a lot like a visually stunning way to check boxes

Except when the line was said, we were still supposed to believe she "saw things"… Now we have seen many of those thing NOT happen… I assume she said it because she believed it… Story wise it simply drove home that Arya is special.

As explained in the finale by an unidentified Lannister soldier.

Sansa got Tully genes… Arya Is more Stark Blooded.

The killing of Rickon would be more about the other Northern houses. If there is no legitimate male Stark heir then who are pledging to? Presumably those backing Jon and Sansa want to save Rickon and restore the Stark Name… but Jon's a snow and Sansa a Bolton… "or is it a Lannister?" - Lady Mormont

    This I like.

He could just survive ala Arya and the Hound… Also, does Mel seem like the type who would rank that request? He dead… what's he gonna do about it?

I don't think they'll cross paths again. I think Mel was wrong about her role in the big scheme and her "aging" scene in episode 1 was foreshadowing that the Lord of Light is almost done with her… Jons Resurrection was her actual purpose.

agree with all of that. I feel like the Last of the free men speech was more foreshadowing of the kamakaze nature of this for them than it was simply Bluster to get support. I do think we lose out, if there are no "free men" left to settle in the "post war" version of the world… I feel like there's historical

has to be named characters… like people we are familiar with… not just named on this list… but named on the show.

I hear the season will end on a cliff-hanger… Jon Snow gets stabbed a bunch of times… but is he really dead… he looks dead… cut to black.
