Death is becoming too ambiguous on the show… it's one thing to know that any character can be killed off… that's makes it tense… but writing to stoke "are they dead… or aren't they dead" speculation… plus resurrection as a plot device to further cloud this leans more towards silly than tense.

well I'm hoping the Vale doesn't save the day… But you are right regarding the hurting of some points in favor of others… the dialogue has suffered this season as book material shrinks away… also WTF is up with ep 7 being like 42 minutes… and then 9 and 10 are 60 and 69 respectively?? The pacing seems like it could

Best theory I've heard revolving around LSH is that the Blackfish could take her role. He's a legend… he supposedly went off to die heroically (off screen) and we heard they caught him, but he died… Brotherhood likely won't meet Cat because she's been dead for years now… Perhaps they find a more freshly dead Blackfish…

I will be very disappointed if that's the way they go with it.

    or disguise.

I would agree that Jon's "change" has been minimal… outside of it being his cue to leave the watch… he seems about the same to me. And Franken-mountain has frustrated me since they teased him at the end of season 4… plenty of potential and they do nothing with it… he's like the walking embodiment of a certain place we

Pretty sure Yara and Theon will salvage many of the ships after a great sea battle…

"realized to fully commit to being a Faceless Men assassin, she'd have to give up who she was and she didn't want to do that"

what's west of Westeros?? Gendry and Arya rowing toward the edge of the world.

Balon actually died after Stannis on the Show… which I've always thought to be fairly sloppy work on the show writers part…

I would note that accepting that the Gods do not dictate the trial by combat is the first step in admitting the Gods may not affect what happens here… and in fact may not care, or indeed exist. This is the beginning of the end for the sparrow as it begins the slippery slope away from "divine rule" and the idea that

    I'm gonna say Shireen… RIP

Thoros could bring her back instead… point being they are clearly not chained to the book plot lines so they can "bring her back" without following the book to the letter.

good point… perhaps Varys decided he had been wrong… what with all the magic and such

I think when Tommen dies it will be Cersie's fault (or Jaime will blame her at least) and that will be the wedge between her and Jaime… I can't see the Bonnie and Clyde scenario playing out with them.

Some Tully's… Some wildlings… some last minute Northerners… and the Brotherhood plus Sandor. I'm suspecting the Knights of the vale save the day.

I'm inclined to agree regarding the interest in Dorne… But I din't expect they are gone away. They are plotting… they must be… there is no opposition.

    That's actually how I feel when I watch Vikings…

I kind of agree and that makes it even worse… all that and she wins because the Waif is a tool?!?!

It was always hampered by the fact that nobody wants arya to become no one… and yet everyone wants to see Arya succeed… so WTF?
