Well Jaime was supposed to find the Stark girls… he sent Brienne… Brienne will arrive with a message for The Blackfish from Sansa… so part of his oath (mentioned by The Blackfish at the meeting) will be fulfilled… I suspect the Blackfish sneaks away from the siege to help his Niece.
