Copycats… and aspiring attention seekers found a martyr

so far this season has been very good compared to last year.

    Wow… OK… so I can't believe how much I enjoyed this.

They are overdoing the sex now… it takes away from the show. IMO. Everything else is good. I am very curious to see how the prosecutor and the defence lawyer both end up bleeding out is the same house. Asher is great and I'm glad we're getting to the eggs911 mystery…

C'mon… when Mitchel tried to pull the whistle off the lady? Nothing? you must be dead inside ;-P

    good point.

it's true… but I think the point was that kids look up to older kids… haley was never bright, Alex was but Alex looked up to Haley in many ways… the same would translate here…

Yes, she is far ahead of everyone her age and has gotten into the same school… she is a threat to the "comfortably smarter than everyone"…

the knockout Public defender with her tata's hanging out is silly full stop. And yes… it is very much a "night time soap". good call.

I don't know… dressed "as they see me"… then unveil the reality of a powerful rich black woman.. is pretty straight forward… them vs us philosophy… The "controversy" is pretty funny… the black man wanted to make a point about white people, and the white lady didn't agree with it… but felt it's not her place to speak

But it's the comparison that matters… she doesn't want to say… white people treat us like lions… she wants to say, what she says… "the establishment still thinks we are (insert degrading comparison)." I thought it was silly, but the speech made it work IMO

This bothers me… I will begin the season, but I was already thinking it can't hold up based on the description and preview. Once people "move on" we're just watching normalcy… I notice many seem to point out that it's character driven… but there is nothing interesting about said characters until "this" happened… there

Agent Bland also states explicitly that he "doesn't know what she did, or WHAT THE CONTEXT is"… just in case we didn't see it coming before hand…

So the two silliest parts were:
    1. The attempt at drama when Gordon answers the phone and Barbara's calling. The expression, the audio, the cut… all fairly lame and nothing about the call was dramatic… She is loose, she has access to phones (Now), she has called before (when she had no access and was locked up), she

you make a good point… the two shows are not in the same class…

"The dialogue is frequently terrible"… indeed. Concept is pretty cool, but the writing of words for characters is as awful as I've seen on an FBI drama…

I thought he would take the gun and point 4 clicks and a bang at the other guy. But I think the way it played out was probably better.

It's funny… I saw the school bus coming and felt dread like, "they can't off a bunch of little kids…"

they are only "minorities" in America… and it's not "surprising"… the surprising thing is that people can't look beyond their own paradigm… of course anyoe can be racist and depending where you go the "majority" changes… racism still exists…

well, the girl with the Tats is certainly no Red Reddington. Full stop, I suspect I will not make it through the season.. but we'll see… too many good shows.
