Don't get me wrong, I loved Farscape. It was a great respite from all of the other quality, serious sci-fi on at the time (there wasn't any). I watched it on local channels in syndication during my pre-cable days, and I've never been more pissed off at a TV serious and the executives that run it, when I saw the finale

But don't call me that either, call me Hank!

Don't forget Hugh Keays-Byrne and Jonathan Hardy was also in Mad Max

Apparently, 24 must have also shot a lot in Vancouver (or at least did most of their casting there)

I loved Andromeda when I started watching it, but around season 3, it got really bad, and they apparently hired a composer for the show that had previously only done westerns. However, upon rewatching the first few episodes a couple of years ago, either it had aged badly, or I had really outgrown it.

Thank you for that. Usually, after I hear people gush about SG-1 and SGA, I prepare for this when they get to SGU:

Another entry into why the Emmys just plain suck: There was only one talk show worth it for me to go out of my way to watch every night, and that was the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Eleven seasons and not one single nomination. Now, his notably inferior replacement gets a nomination? There is clearly a lot

What in the world did Bryan Fuller do, sleep with somebody's husband? Is there a conspiracy to shut him out of the Emmys altogether? Especially since he is somewhat similar to Ryan Murphy, only superior in every fucking conceivable way! After this season of American Gods, it couldn't be because he isn't politically

While there is much to like about the Expanse, it's not the Sci-Fi show I've been waiting for. I'm not getting that first two seasons of BSG feel from it.

Why did you say that name?

For example, look at all the love for Outlander.

Not terrible, but not anywhere near as great as people think it is.

Carmen reminds me of a female version of Richard Splett. (And no, it's not because of the glasses)

Then, no chance for Eugene Levy?

The Doctor Strange Honest Trailer, starring Benedict Wong and Benedict White

Case in point

If you've ever seen Stargate Universe, Julie McNiven hooks up with David Blue, who is practically Rich Sommer's brother. She certainly has a type.

I had absolutely no interest in watching this until I found out that Betty Gilpin was in it and she certainly didn't disappoint.

Only in Hollywood is Alison Brie "moderately attractive"

Actually, Arab terrorists weren't really a big thing in the 80's, unless you were in a Middle Eastern embassy. Soviets were the antagonists du jour.
