Stan Lee: He can't be the Hulk… I'M the Hulk!
[rips his shirt open, growls, and tries to change into the Hulk]

And the omniscient Saviors are able to track every member of Alexandria at all times without any of them being able to detect a single Savior at any time, except when the Saviors want them to.

You can read history repeating itself here:

Plus, they started with the show on Thursday night during the summer season. There were something like 10 scripted dramas on the major networks last summer, and eight of them were on Thursday night. Kind of like GOB Bluth setting up his banana stand several feet away from Michael's.

This season, Fargo actually had about the exact same ratings as Hannibal.

Agree. They only count DVR ratings within a few days of broadcast. Many people wait for the entire season to finish and binge it, especially for a serialized show like this.

If you have no qualms about pirating shows, though, this would be less illegal. The advertisers ads are being seen, so they are getting their exposure. The only thing wrong is messing up the studios international contracts. I could actually be wrong, but I don't think any government has declared VPN'ing illegal, yet.

Actually, during the last half of the last season of Hannibal, when NBC moved it from Thursday to Saturday, it still broadcast in Canada on Thursday.

I have read that when it was being pitched, they did at least pitch it to several cable networks, but nobody was interested. I'm not sure about Netflix, though.

Why would you pirate a show that is available from at least three sources for free?

You could have gotten a free VPN and watched it on the NBC web site. That would have counted towards views.

Too bad they couldn't get Robert Downey Jr and Javier Bardem on to claim that they were Negan too.
