Well, now we have seen the results of the great experiment to place a quality cable-model television show on network television. What a disaster it was (the experiment, not the show). Networks, stick with your by the numbers procedurals that these days could be written by a computer program. Your days are numbered.

I have to admit that what made me the most doubtful of this show was the DeLaurentis name — something I don't associate with quality. But damn, did Martha DeLaurentis show how to put forth a top-shelf production!

I can't believe this isn't more people's favorite scene:

"everybody I know do not watch this show" — I sure know that feeling. I cannot tell you how many times I've tried to convince friends that this is the show they need to be watching, and they still refuse to watch it.

If you look at the Fuller postmortem interview on Hitfix, he seems generally surprised at the interpretation that Bedelia did this to herself.

Plus, what if Hannibal didn't show up tonight, but sometime next week? Does she put her leg back in the fridge every night and then heat it up again? Serving Hannibal leftovers, how rude!

I kicked his ass.

Yes, but he was surveilling their homes before the murders.

That's because Mads isn't a quitter.

All he was waiting for was a yes from David Bowie to throw in Uncle Robertus.

Tis but a scratch!

I always wondered if the same thing happened in the X-Files with Jose Chung, when the nerdy guy said of Mulder, "His face was so blank and expressionless, he didn't seem human." I'm wondering if Darin Morgan is quoting a scathing review of David Duchovny?

Will: "I am not righteous!"

Whenever people suggest this, all doubts are dispelled for me hearing Gillian's laugh.

I loved how when Hannibal was freed they brought back the bull roarer, and it was an absolutely brilliant idea in this show that they combined the roles of score and sound editing.

I agree. I felt the music sounded like a Bond song, and the rest of the show was on such a hot streak, why change up right at the end? It felt out of place.

Have to say I disagree. Hannibal is not a misogynist, he is a misanthrope. Far from trivializing murder and mental suffering, most people who complained about this show complained about it spending too much time dwelling on the aftereffects of the things Hannibal had done too the other characters. Will's mental

I also thought I had read that we were going to get more backstory on Dolarhyde this season, so I thought there would be more scenes from his childhood, especially after they had that one shot at the dinner table from his childhood.

Hi, my name is Azog the Defiler and I'll be your server this evening. Would you care to start with some Hobbit Poppers?
