Well, maybe gibberish is the wrong term. Basically the lyrics are a corporation telling a young rock star his life story and his hopes and dreams while assimilating him and his music into the corporate machine that was the music business at that time. While the lyrics of the song are nonsense gibberish about the record business as it existed around 40 years ago and have little or nothing to do with the plot of the show, the music still sounds awesome!
