It could simply be that since this is his neighborhood, he finally gets to wear the fancy bow ties he wasn't allowed to wear in the architects' headquarters.

That twist made me so happy I actually screamed and giggled like a little girl. My flatmate who had no idea what was happening to me was a little worried. THIS is great television. When the twist is revealed it's very satisfying seeing how it all falls into place.

This show makes me laugh out loud, which is really refreshing.

That view is simplistic. What CineCraft said is closer to what really happened. Plus, the Swiss government helped the Nazis in some ways to be on their good side.

I know, I was quoting Notting Hill, and the fact that Tahani used the word towering instead was hilarious!
EDIT : And Eleanor thought Tahani's speech was better…

I loved that the end of Tahani's love declaration was a complete ripoff from Notting Hill : "I'm also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."

That judge is just a hater.

I'm wondering at which point it's not the actors' fault anymore and it's the director's. And what's the point of stopping before every f*ing word, especially when it's not hard to figure out what's going to be said next?

I agree. These…insufferable…pauses…between…words…made me want to kill myself (or the cast).

…yet.

I don't remember seeing the violin, but depending on the size it could be the one she had as a child. Children's instruments are typically smaller and only teenagers and adults play on full-sized instruments (at least it's the case with violins).

She could speak English before her abduction but she left Russia when she was already blind, so she probably never learnt to read the latin alphabet, she only learnt Braille (I would assume).

I agree. Blind auditions might seem unfair, but the alternative is worse.

As a classically trained singer, I'm just happy there's actually a show about our world, even though it's sometimes exagerated (albeit not that often).

Well, someone publicly comparing two movements/groups should do her homework and actually do research before putting them on the same level, whether she's a millenial or not. But what are facts, really, all that counts is beliefs.

Well maybe it shouldn't have been a rhetorical question, because if she was more conscious of what the KKK has done, she wouldn't be comparing them to BLM.

…and liberals are the whining snowflakes.

"What's the KKK done?"

I've just finished binge-watching this, per AVC's recommendation. How come I'd never heard of that show before? It's really great and it has the potential to touch a large audience.

Same here in Switzerland, although we have other parties on both sides. Usually I think the left in Europe is rather red.
