I never liked him until the internet got a hold of him. Now a million bad insults later I can't help but sympathize with him and cheer on his approach. We are awful.

And especially with something like racism, where it seems like that one opinion is supposed to invalidate everything else about someone, just making you evil. I get it, its American culture, its a product of our past, and we successfully made racism socially unacceptable. But then it flew past that into this

The waves of praise for the show only after its cancelled has been a tremendous phenomenon to watch. There wasn't much in it for praising the show while it was on, people just didn't like the show very much, but there is a whole lot of value in calling people or networks racist for cancelling it. Flawless execution.

Inviting Spade is a nice touch but I'm not sure if bringing the the exhumed corpse of Farley is a very good idea.

This is more than enough to get you labeled a rape defender around here.

That's an incredible list…..I've always held First Blood, Khan and Poltergeist as some of the best movies of their kind, none would be done half as well these days.
Being a mid-90s guy I always liked those years but they can't hang with that 82 list……1993 had Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Groundhog Day, The

Die Hard is the other one I'd put on its level. But First Blood has legitimate depth to it, Die Hard more of a pop flick which is how I'd give FB the nod.

    Best action movie ever.

Writing and creating a song like Exit Music for the first time must have been quite a feeling…..I hadn't before seen them say it took them to another level but I can imagine. Even coming out of The Bends, Exit Music is a different animal of atmosphere and emotion. Seems like having that kind of power at your hands…I

Gender swapping it would be more realistic than in most cases, given how Griselda Blanco aka The Godmother was a decent real-life comparison to Tony Montana.

Love this album and easily my favorite Wilco stuff.

As far as Redd Foxx…..I've been listening to a lot of old comedy lately, Redd was good but its very classic humor for the most part. Some really good standard jokes.
The guy who really surprised me is Richard Pryor……someone my age, we knew him from The Toy and Gene Wilder movies, but his early comedy stuff is so

I can still remember watching that Patience episode……thinking it was probably the best thing I'd seen in my life to that point. Wonder Showzen was capable of extreme heights.

Feeling of getting old washes over me as I admit how much I love this. He is talking directly to the AV Club.

Took me about halfway through the review to remember this voice…..this incredibly whiny social justice obsessive perspective…..yup, the guy who reviewed Ballers. Its like a trip into another dimension.

I still hear "Wise from your gwave" in my head at least once a week….that line apparently had a profound effect on my subconscious.

    Facts are racist, unfortunately.

I really liked that guy in True Detective. There is something particularly genuine about him….or at least he's a good actor.

While Kenny Powers definitely had enough similarities to Ricky from TPB, it seems like McBride's new character basically IS Ricky.

But its everyone else and their narrow-minded notions who are the problem.
