A few less minutes on bad jokes, a few more minutes listening to people, and you might wind up with slightly less foolish characterizations of the issue.

Some guy made some great fat chick jokes on there that I saw.

The joke just gets better and better, like milk.

Not a big Oswalt fan but this is one of the biggest bullseyes in a while.

Passive aggressive? I'd say it was straight up aggressive, maybe if you didn't understand the whole thing was a joke you could throw the passive in there.

Listen pal, I have no self-esteem and I needed to develop excessive pride in my various affiliations and opinions to give my life meaning. Don't you dare criticize any of these symbols I've adopted to superimpose over my empty life.

Anyone else starting to really hate society?

The 5-minute sequence at the beginning of Up in Smoke where they're baked in the car, stopped by police….."you just took the most acid I've ever seen anyone take"….only a few times I've laughed harder than that.

Yeah, this is probably the best answer. Episode where they do the first half forwards then second half was first half backwards…..insane.

To me, the best productions can express an idea like boredom without *actually being boring*. That's the talent. Its like making food, anyone can load spices into it and make a strong tasting dish that will hit the marks…….but making good food means subtlety, expressing the point without being blatant or

If it weren't for Odenkirk, who is thoroughly likable and I want to succeed, I would have stopped watching this show by this point. I'm still waiting for the first plot development in the Breaking Bad universe that isn't initiated by someone acting ridiculous….in this case the cops acting like hired goons over a

One thing I notice about all this stuff is that we have more and more comedians and less and less jokes. Its like, everyone has to weigh in with some joke about the topic du jour, but so many of them center around the same cliches or tired memes.

I just puked all over myself. Thanks.

I think its pretty strange how in Albequerque, people apparently resort to the "kidnap someone and bring them to the desert" at the drop of a hat. With how often it happens you almost expect to see other kidnap/hostage situations happening in the background of the scene on the show.

Started reading the review then stopped about 50 words in. The gushing is just always so far over the top when it comes to breaking bad stuff.

Ha….I just got done saying this above. I guess there are more of us than there used to be.

I was into Frank Black's solo stuff before I ever really listened to the Pixies…..and he's one of my favorite musicians, had a run of fantastic albums. But the Pixies, I've just never gotten it. Tried, back when I tried to like things like this, and it always felt entirely inferior to Black's later stuff. Couple of

This is a fascinating examination of different accounts of people liking/disliking music for the imagery, self-defintion, conformity or lack of it……so much about the social implications of the music. "I liked it when other people liked it, but now that other people don't like it I can really see what they mean!"

Its a powerful analogy, in that the dicks killing elephants and buying their ivory are some of the stupidest dicks in the world. But past that, it doesn't make much sense.

    Its hip to be square.
