    The narrator is unmistakably Tony Jay, who I recognised as Chairface Chippendale.

    When we were young (1980s) my sister and I went to a Flintstones theme park I think in Kelowna BC. One attraction was a theater where they showed Flintstones cartoons. My sister thought they were recording the audience here for the actual laugh track so she laughed as loud as possible at every opportunity.

    The last letter reminds me of the "Daddy's Watching" episode of Nathan For You, when a dating website incorporates a service where women can get an incredibly creepy chaperone for online dating.

    This episode was one of my favourites during the Simpsons' slow but sudden slip into lower quality. Then again, I moved here from Canada and they think I'm sloow, eh? and it kind of supports the stereotype we have of Americans (as does a lot of the show anyway).

    I envision a new Doctor Who wherein the companion is that scared hobo. Would be a great way to break the monotony haunting companions.
