Having grown up in a trailer park (no, really), I can tell you that the smelliest, ugliest girls still had no problem getting laid.

Sorry, I meant specifically post-FNL on TV. I thought Very Bad Things was hilarious, but it's definitely from a Berg of a different era.

The Vulture article this links to was posted yesterday at 4:00 p.m. Rabin's review was already written by then. Cut him some slack. Plus the article clearly states that everyone, including Elliott himself, has repeated the reason that Rabin gives for the second season change.

The New York Times did an article on this a while back that convinced me to pick up the book. It's really fascinating stuff. I can't seem to find the original article (it was from several years ago) but I did find a related slideshow:

I knew this movie was going to be crap from the beginning. Neither Zoe Saldana nor Olivia Wilde have ever been in a good movie, and this has both of them. Very pretty women but very mediocre actors.

I felt the same way about April - when people (for good reasons) pan the last couple of seasons of GG, I will often bring her up as one of the few good things about those episodes. She was really charming and gave us a chance to see a deeper version of Luke.
