This comment really shows off how AV Club commenters are usually as ignorant as the ones they ridicule. Some of James Rolfe's most popular content revolved around Ghostbusters and they are his favourite movies. He felt the newest one is a disservice to the originals for many reasons, the biggest one being he…
I obviously see you're not very sharp, and I'm sorry for that.
Give me a reason to show you respect and I'll consider it.
Congratulations on your race. I don't really care.
Maybe lots of people think it isn't and you're wrong?
Some aren't, some probably don't even see the issue.
No, you said that BECAUSE black people have said the same thing my point is somehow irrelevant. So you're implying that those black people apparently hold opinions that are not to be questioned, also not mentioning that other black people may hold contrary views which, you know, would validate my point.
So you were just joking?
I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not. Because if not, then, ironically, you're racist yourself for putting people up on a pedestal purely because of their skin color.
I personally don't buy the context-argument. This is a feature approved by the Marley estate (which is also black), as you said, therefore I really don't see the issue.
I get this is ill-advised and in poor taste, but how exactly is it racist? The app tries to make you look like Bob Marley and does so. What does this have to do with race at all?
