Well, Suspiria has clearly seeped into the mainstream.

Hot take: Suspiria is actually…not very good. Lasted about 25 minutes before I turned it off; I found the color palette hypnotic to look at, but the scary music simply cheapened the material for me. Will give it another shot at some point, though, because it may have been just me.

Kiss Me Deadly is not just the greatest noir ever made. It's one of the greatest films ever made, period. And I'm not being hyperbolic.

No, they were playing it at Chipotle over the speakers.

I heard "Paranoid Android" at Chipotle the other day.

"Karma Police" is kind of a bro song now…

The makers of the show are essentially holding Donald Trump's beer. They can't top the nightmarish, once-unimaginable prospect of a dingbat con artist becoming President that actually materialized in real life. Whatever they throw at us this season won't have the same effect; the show's power has been blunted.

Christoph Waltz.

Well, it was his follow of to Pulp, which essentially changed the course of cinema. Love that he made something so personal, so low-key after it.

I saw Jackie Brown quite recently. Beautiful, beautiful film.

Tony Rocky Horror got thrown out of a six story building for giving Mia Wallace a foot massage. Did he deserve it?

Anyone else unmistakably reminded of Reservoir Dogs each and every time time one hears Stealer Wheel's Stuck In The Middle With You? One of a handful of songs that's now inseparable from the film. (see also: The Doors - The End, Apocalypse Now.)

Amended.
