While I do think Nick was jealous about Jezebels, I don't think he was actually upset at June.

And he sexually assaulted Hannah. His whole PUA, entourage bullshit was gross enough, but going straight for a crotch grab minutes into a first date? Ugh.
People keep talking about depression like it's this separate, unrelated thing that just happens. Indeed, for some it is, but the main reason -Hannah- is depressed is because she is isolated and bullied. Things were obviously not great even before the current story gets rolling.
She's depressed in large part because people are shitty to her, it's not an unrelated occurrence.
The black market trading is done by all types. The Eyes and Mayday too, no doubt, but also Commanders and Wives (through servants) and between the servants as well. That's how Fred gets his booze and Serena her cigarettes.
Not saying he isn't complicit in the system, but I don't think one can just walk away from being a Guardian, much less an Eye.
Pyrce already knows about Waterford and previous Offred, so perhaps Nick did tell him. He wasn't ready to remove him yet though.
Of course that's the actual reason. In story though, the Guardian driving the ambulance said "Keep him alive, the Captain's got questions."

They don't have oranges often because they're still fighting in Florida.
She is upset, but realizes it's too late and that causing a fuss would be bad for her and her husband.
Racism is not always kill/deport all the brown people. Sometimes it's "control them" or "make them better."
I think he just knew she wasn't into it and wanted her to be. He could think it was because she's changed since he told her about Ofglen.
Nick doesn't get "a woman." A wife. Single men don't get handmaids.
Gilead definitely does care about fertility, but not above "righteousness."
I think that's unhappiness with the current state of things / his marriage coming through. Or one of the many things he now tells himself to help justify all the suffering he had a part in creating.
I think she would've confessed before she let Charlotte hang, but she was trying to find a way for none of them to die. She made that deal with Cunliffe and was coming to the jail when Quigley swooped in.
It's more clear after reading the Historical Notes at the end of the book.
