Wow, I never knew Sondheim was involved with that terrible Sylvester Stallone/Antonio Banderas film. Poor guy must have needed to pay the rent that month.

Remember how that Lost in Space film set up a sequel at the end which never happened as the film tanked? No, you don't, because nobody remembers the Lost in Space film. People were saying this summer was bad for films, it was still miles better than the garbage fire that was 1998.
Just waiting for the Giants to somehow lose to the Bears or the Browns, thus permanently scuttling their playoff chances.
Tom Ford really doesn't like people very much judging by this film. It's good (Shannon is great) but it has a real heart of stone. Also, digital trickery means we get scenes with Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal playing early-20s versions of their characters, which feels rather disconcerting. Though not as disconcerting…
Ah great, I'll take that
There are few things more terrifying than Mel saying 'I always get what I want' in Flight of the Conchords.
I keep checking to see if this and Moonlight have been given (or even will get) a UK release date. No joy so far :(
'I want to do something for her… but what?'
'Well, there's the usual things: flowers… chocolates… promises you don't intend to keep…'
I believe Danvers' translation was 'an argument' - maybe they felt Louise's response meant she would approach things from a different angle (or would give the aliens the benefit of the doubt), which would make her bettef for the job.
Hey, some of us are OK! #notallteetotalers
She's one of the best actresses in Hollywood at the moment.
I've been looking forward to this for ages, and after this shithouse week I'm really looking forward to seeing it now this weekend.
Joe Hill is actually good at what he does though
Next up: Jennifer Lynch to direct a remake of Blue Velvet
Time to lobby the Academy to nominate The Great Beyond and Ricky Baker Birthday Song from Hunt for the Wilderpeople for Best Original Song this year.
Is it a reboot when it's a new film adaptation of a book? *turns off pedantic setting*
I am! Hope you enjoy the gig! Still haven't heard the new album, but I did really like More Light.
They should have Not Directed by Zack Snyder all over the marketing for this (I know you could have said the same for Suicide Squad which turned out terrible anyway, but it's still a selling point).
And if so, can they just get James Cromwell back to play Prince Phillip.
Even Cannavale in Ant-Man got a 'you think I'm just going to be the dickish stepfather but I'm a decent guy really' thing. Not sure I've ever seen a billed actor get less in an MCU film than Stuhlbarg gets here.
