Another top-notch episode. And - others have said it already, but how does Sarandon at 70 look TOO YOUNG to play the 52-53 year old Davis?

Fantastic stuff…………..the Hockey highlight is just tremendous.
Geez - I was just confused after last week's show. Now - I'm kind of scared. In a good way, though.
Another terrific episode, and you didn't even mention the inclusion of "Hit It And Quit It" by Funkadelic - also an awesome choice.
I would argue 'Bad Santa' needs to be higher, maybe a lot higher - that movie is a fucking riot. And - nice to see 'Hot Fuzz' acknowledged - often overshadowed by 'Shaun Of The Dead', but I may actually prefer it just a wee bit. As the man himself says - "That's what I'm talking about"……..
"You…sentient enema!" Yes, yes - everything about Jonah's campaign continues to be a delight. I don't think I can adequately describe how much I love this show.
"…he couldn't find a babysitter….or COULD he?" Yes, Jonah's campaign is going to be a goldmine.
I definitely didn't have tears in my eyes at the end of this episode - that would be crazy, it's a comedy! Yes, the songs were great, as was Kimmy getting startled by Lillian - "Ah - stoop crone!"….. This show is just the best - reminds me a bit of 'Bojack Horseman' - takes place in a totally nuts universe, the…
Yes - Alison Wright was just amazing tonight - when Phillip/Clark said "for the KGB", it looked like she was collapsing from the inside. And - on some level, I think Phillip may have revealed himself to Martha in a (subconscious) attempt to 'out' himself, and maybe get himself taken out of the game (and back to…
Yeah, I think I share the feeling others are putting forth - the show is OK, pretty good at times, but I'm kind of glad it's over - bring on 'Game Of Thrones'. One annoying thing - they try WAY to hard to cram in as many famous characters/locales as humanly possible - hey, there's Dee Dee Ramone at the show……hey,…
This episode was worth it just for Vance reacting to Nathan Lane…..first the smile/hand gesture when Bailey was explaining why HE and not Shapiro should go to North Carolina (the one that said "Would you look at this guy?"), then his face in court when Bailey went into his Foghorn Leghorn impression with the NC judges…
Not a great episode, but not a 'B' either……'B+' at worst. This show is just amazing - has maintained a tone that's about 70% serious/30% nuts, just like it was when it happened. Adjust that ratio as you see fit, of course. And Sarah Paulson - just go ahead and put her name on the Emmy and drive it over to her house…
Yeah, this was better than a 'B' for sure. If only for "I honestly feel like I'm inside Katy Perry's vagina". Plus "Honestly….I'd kill for a gay husband". And the closing scene with Shosh was beautiful. And the lack of Marnie, well…..it surely didn't hurt.
I love this show, but it might be the saddest show ever.
I'm going to keep watching, for at least another week or two, but this show has been "just OK" so far - "perfunctory" is the word that keeps coming to mind. The "interlude" bits depicting legendary artists are still cool (this week's Howlin Wolf interlude was great), the guy who played Alice was good, and John…
Yep - bingo - Mama Baskets is the best. It's Louie Anderson IN DRAG playing someone's mother, and I'll be damned if I didn't get choked up during the scene at the bridge. And yes, what she did to Penelope was pretty harsh, and she had to know that it would crush Chip, but it needed to be done - the "marriage" was a…
I'm loving this show so far - just the right amount of 'over the top' & campy. I can see how some might think it's too flippant or silly, but the way they're portraying it is pretty much how it seemed at the time - like a big, crazy, unbelievable circus. And the casting is just fucking killer - Nathan Lane as F. Lee…
"Oh good……because I felt BAD for you." Louie Anderson is just amazing so far. This is such a sad, funny, beautiful show.
Please, please - the word is ESCORTS - some decorum, for God's sake.
This episode was, um……kind of beautiful? Which is an impressive accomplishment since it also featured a cupid peeing into people's mouths.
