Thanks, I guess, but my underlying point was that it varies more from person to person. Multiples are easy for my wife, whereas her best friend struggles mightily to have one.

I think that describes a lot of immigrant communities, past and present.

My wife has had multiples with relative ease in the past, and has complained that it made her feel like people were treating her like a toy.

My solution was to break up to be with my future (and present) wife. Worked out for me. Given that she met her future husband shortly thereafter, it worked for her too.

If nothing else, we are rock solid on things that *don't* work.
