If I was your age, the only real deal-breaker would be she is not 21 to get into bars or order drinks at a restaurant. Age differences mean more the younger you are. Once a person is over 25, they can usually date who they want without it being creepy at all, unless the person is 70 or something. After age 25,

me too, even clicking the link, I didn't get it. Its way too inside baseball as a reference for anyone to get.

commits the kung-fu movie error of if one person has special powers, why not introduce five more. Had some good karate fights, but overall, I was unimpressed with this. I only stuck around because it was six episodes, so if it was good, great, if not, no big investment. But the world building was iffy, the acting

To be truthful, I never like Clarke's stories. Even 2001. Everybody in my opinion holds him in high esteem because of the movie, but that had much more to do with Stanley Kubrick and visual flair and a unique style than the story, which is incomprehensible, even in the book. I defy anyone to tell me they understood

The commercials were ridiculous. They must have spent a lot on this and needed to recoup the costs. I swear if you cut out the commercials, I bet this whole thing lasted three or four hours tops instead of six.

SPOILER REVIEW

yes, but this is only after eight episodes..lol

Although when he said it it sounded creepy, in retrospect, the only thing Jeb Bush said all year that everyone agrees with is Supergirl is hot. lol

I agree it was a "B". As others on here stated, the Astra stuff would have been much better if they told us before now that Kara knew her aunt quite well and her aunt loved her. I am also a little uncertain about the story now that Cat knows Kara is supergirl. It seems like this is one of the worst kept secret

Most interesting premiere on sci-fi since their Battlestar Galactica hey day. I admit I am hooked to see where this is going. The network really invested in this, and it shows. The special effects are first rate for a cable TV show and the sets are way above average. After years of playing it cheap after BSG, it

This is the rare movie where all the parts are excellent, the story is nice, the acting is great, but if you know the history of how much Travers hated Disney, it actually is a travesty. A smiley-faced character assassination of a woman who is dead. Only maybe Stephen King/ Stanley Kubrick making of "The Shining" had

yes, and he also probably thought as an alien, she didn't even have human feelings. I remember in the first episode when she revealed herself to him, he said, "of course that is why you won't go out with me", or something to that effect. He was okay with her not being interested in him at first because he mistakenly

I actually think she is doing great in the part. Her character is the most developed besides Supergirl. Lord being third. Winn is just the pining friend and James is the perfect guy, etc.. Alex was great the first couple of episodes, but lately she is there to move the plot.

yes, like 100%, which is why they are setting up him acting like a jerk to Kara and the fact he is pining for her and she does not feel that way about him.

I think you have to look at it as Winn is supposed to be that way and it is intentional, the way they are taking this. He basically admitted he puts her on a pedestal and thinks she should never date anyone. (probably except him but even then I think he is so intimidated by her it still wouldn't work out for him)

I do not think so, which is why I said they are long-playing it. I think they have to set it up this way so its more of a big deal when he becomes a villain. If they made him too much of an ass too fast, or made it too lopsided, it would ruin his arc. Him acting like a douche towards her and Jimmy would seem to be

Well, I think they were going for Winn being obviously torn up seeing how much she likes him and giving her the classic friendzone passive/aggressive stuff. Kara tried to repair it as a friend, but it is unclear if she really understands at this point he does not want to be friends and wants her in the non-friend way.

um yea

Look your funny! Implying you are smart and I am not..hahahaha laughing like crazy

Its ok. But with Colbert, Seth Meyers, The Daily Show, Last Week, Real Time, Nightly Show, etc..they are all the same with the same far left ideology. Really, how many far left "comedy" shows does the nation need or even want? Its like talk radio for liberals, you just start to tune them out.
