Agreed. They haven't actually given him any appealing or charismatic features, so it's really hard to buy into the notion of their everlasting love.

Um, the little girl playing Edie was pretty adorable this episode. It can be ridiculously hard to cast child actors that young, but it seems to have paid off here. (Or else John Stamos is just magic with toddlers.)

It was a tad amateur at points — some very choppy cuts during Leith and Claude's first conversation, for example — but overall, Follows definitely showed some skills. And it helped that she had such a spacious episode to work with!
