Yeah, I agree. Or at least be interesting with it — it would have been fun if the kindergarten teacher made her act that way sometimes, but also made her flirtatious, etc. They gotten really, really broad this season, and it both feels super unnecessary and also make it really hard for me to recommend the show to new

Yeah, as a former high school debater though, that level of shooting-yourself-in-the-foot-by-making-stupid-arguments-for-the-sake-of-winning rang pretty true of the people I knew.

Yeah, I actually went "erghhhh" in real life at that. I also don't appreciate the retconning — I thought it was pretty clear that Barry had a childhood crush, and Iris just thought of him as a friend/brother for the first 25 years.

tbh, he looks a bit older than his age anyway — they didn't really have to try.

"Dan reappears alive after surviving a nearby bunker explosion."

This is only acceptable if basically none of those things Roseanne pitched in 2009 happen.

Just catching up here, but think the show is really close to saying something interesting about the death penalty. Oliver likes to kill, and he (like Dexter) found an outlet in killing people he believes deserve it. But whether you're Oliver or Adrian's dad, even people who've done bad things have people who care

This is why Legends would be a good summer show. Only air it in the off season, and then when Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl come back, just make offhand references to that time dinosaurs ruled L.A. (Does L.A. even exist on Earth-1? Maybe they ended up on another Earth on accident.)

Yes! I also loved that Ray came back like, "Eh, I thought about it, and yeah man, you're a smart guy, just be safe." Having the condom talk is exactly how that conversation should have gone.

Yeah, I'll like if they stick with him being a bit reticent for the rest of the season. I mean, if he remembers everything, he remembers killing a not-insignificant number of people, including his own friends. That's going to make stuff a little awkward for awhile.

Next to Lex Luthor apparently, so it's not like Clark has a particularly stellar success rate in friendship.

I mean, she has a bit of an upper-crust East Coast sound, but I thought her confusion was partly at the fact that she DOESN'T speak heavily accented English (in so much as she speaks English as a second language as well).

I really appreciated after that just how much Naomi tried to protect Rebecca from her father. A narcissist can recognize a narcissist.

Trent is the hero in his own story!

There are rose ceremonies where you see contestants being walked out to their limo as the sun comes up. I've heard that these things can go extremely late. I haven't seen the episode, but yeah, I'd assume her explanation might ruin the magic a bit. "I started drinking at 11 AM, haven't eaten since 2 PM, and it's 4 AM

That's a really good point. I remember having a really hard time accepting Ben on Parks and Rec at first because he seemed like such a jerk, and I just rewatched his first two seasons last month and was surprised at how well his introduction worked in retrospect.

I have a lot of faith in the writers at this point, even if I can't necessarily see where they're going now. CXG has been so smart about planting seeds that pay off way down the line, and looking at Nathaniel and the various traits he shares with Rebecca, I have to imagine his presence will offer the show a new way

If I recall, Kudrow and Conan used to date back in the day, which would make UKS an alt-universe. I'M IN. (Sorry this comment is 8 months too late.)

In that case, they're going to Monica-and-Chandler it by having Chidi and Eleanor get together (presumably at Jason and Tahani's wedding).

Don't do it — find the DVDs. Netflix has some of the music replaced, and if you can stand watching the initial JD/Elliot hook-up scene without The Coral's "Dreaming of You" in the background, I don't want to know you.
