It's like a Venn diagram that only touches in one point. It's a portal now and somehow stabilized.

I'm thinking about the possibility that Peter IS an Observer now. His existence in this time is over. He exists outside of time now, just like the Observers. Besides, the Observers are down two if I remember.

" Sports Show" films on Mondays so that's why you don't get screeners. It's designed as a quick turn-around show. Something I hope Sportsdome can emulate in their second season.

when it's at its best
Nurse Jackie can be great but I agree this episode was lacking because it was trying to do too much. Jackie works best when Zoey is funny and the rest of the show is fairly dramatic. I have to agree with Gene about how 1-dimensional some of the characters are becoming. I understand Jackie and

I'm pretty sure they knew where they wanted to get by the end of the first season (and only season in this case). If they would get a second season, then yeah, they have to try to make it work with their current mythology. But it's not like a TV show goes from idea to shooting in 4 hours. They write and brainstorm and

Exactly, Darko. I agree that reading ad copy is going too far but if a character eats a Subway sub every single episode, that's totally fine. Great, even.

I really don't care about product placements. Newsflash everyone! They're going to be more and more important in the future. Even my 65 year old parents have a DVR. I think I've read a dozen episode reviews on AVClub how a certain product placement ruined an episode. I think it's time to just get over it. To be fair,

It doesn't really matter what the titular event is, it just has to be big. And finales are typically a good time for big things.

I think The Event is arrival of all of Sophia's people on Earth via the giant portal. Since "The Event" won't be renewed, that would be fair ending.

My point is that the hosting doesn't translate to any more work or money for the hosts, with very few exceptions. NO ONE will be seeing 127 hours because Franco hosted. They MAY see 127 hours because he was nominated but hosting bought him nothing. You could potentially argue that Hathaway got the role of Catwoman

The Who and BEP
were equally terrible but for completely different reasons. Still, there is more upside to being a Super Bowl halftime performer. Oscar hosts don't really get anything out of it so there isn't much incentive to do it.

Cake!
So the cake scene was pretty much the greatest scene ever on the Cape. "WHAT'S IN THE BOX, SCALES?? WHAT'S IN THE BOX…"

The flashbacks were nothing like a LOST episode. Their flashbacks were interspersed in almost every instance with the present on LOST (I can think of 3 off the top of my head that were 95% flashback or more - Maternity Leave, Across the Sea, and Ab Aeterno.)

@WCOG I can't recall seeing any airplanes or hearing discussion of them in Earth-2 but you may be right. There's a HUGE emphasis on blimp/airship travel, however. Blimp travel is roughly the equivalent to car travel in terms of expediency. Besides, blimps are not exactly known for carrying a lot of people so that's

Olivia was in an environment where I'm sure she was encouraged to draw, paint, write anything that came to her mind. That's not surprising in the least. To the best of my knowledge, I was not experimented on when I was a kid and I did what I would consider to be a fairly normal amount of drawing.

@tossin I agree with you - there have to be much more similarities. The differences are often relegated to blimps/airplanes or where the Dodgers play. The fact that they are SO similar makes the emotional investment greater. What if "Fringe" ends in Earth-2 after spending so long in Earth-1? I've grown to love the

The fact that both Olivias end up in Fringe Division despite apparently having radically different childhoods is a curious piece of the puzzle. To be honest, I'm far less confused by the differences between the worlds than the similarities.

It is slightly disconcerting but I'm not ruling out Walter could have scrubbed their brains. I mean, the guy knows A LOT about brains. However, he could never admit it because it would destroy every relationship he has.

She did a great job tonight, too. Really, this was a phenomenally acted episode all around. That's not to take anything away from Jackson or Torv who I have grown to love tremendously. But it's great to see so many guest/small actors give incredible performances. It really speaks to the quality of Fringe this season

When it was a bunch of guys scribbling on napkins, it might have been a 100 but when they ACTUALLY got to designing, they were hopeful to do about 20 a year. Not quite as I think the best ever was 8 but I'd have to check.
