Are you talking about the boy who appeared with blood on his hands to Smokey Locke? I'm pretty sure that was young Jacob. I mean, it COULD be older Aaron but I doubt it.

Well, some are theorizing that Desmond hitched a ride with Widmore. I don't know why he would but I LOVE the idea of Widmore working together with Desmond. It always seemed like Widmore was "pushing" Des in the right direction all along.

No, they are tied together in someway. We just don't know how/why yet. That's why we have all the mirror imagery and certain events "bleeding over" like Jack's appendix scar.

I would guess that it "sinks" or "moves" at the end of this current Island timeline, ie 2007ish. But the Island moves through time as well as space so with the final push, it may move to the year 815 AD and remain underwater forever.

What's weird is that Cusick isn't a series regular this season so shouldn't his name only appear in episodes he actually appears in? Maybe I don't know how this actors guild works.

I think of it more as "moved" as in the donkey wheel may be involved. One last push to end it all. Any volunteers? Jack perhaps?

I'm with min alskaren - it got a little misty in the room when Ben chose Alex over being principal. Never thought that could happen in a Ben episode. Kudos to Kitsis and Horowitz.

I scan the first page and then change to "newest first." The discussion continues all week here. It's not necessary to read all 1000+ comments. BTW, is this the most commented LOST blog on the Internet? I don't think even Doc Jensen hits 1000 each week. I would imagine part of that is due to how easy AVclub is to

I get the feeling that they are PART of the epilogue. I would actually be upset if they end with a 20 minute epilogue to a 121 hour show. It doesn't make sense. The ending has to include the sinking of the Island - the how, the why, and the ramifications. That's why the dropped that major wrench in the season 6

The thing I wonder about regarding the lighthouse and the cave is whether they are both Jacob's dwellings. Why does Jacob need like 4 places on the Island? I wonder if the cave belonged to MIB once upon a time.

It's hard to crash on an Island that's umm… underwater. The Frenchies just sailed around, came back, Danielle said "eff this science stuff" and raised an super bright daughter in LA. Loose end tied up.

I always thought Vanessa was going to a 5 episode arc kind of character. I was shocked when she came on full-time.

so it's not just me
yeah, I decided to move GG off my TV queue. I'll still read these recaps so I'm kept up to speed. But something is just off this season. It doesn't taste as delicious as it once did. I had lots of hope for this college transition but it never really panned out.

Yes, the time travel never would have happened. There are so many weird things about what happened when Jughead explodes. We're just going to have to wait a bit. I'm still transfixed by Richard's comment: "I watched them all die."

Well, they would have had a layover in Honolulu anyway since I don't think there are any nonstops from LAX to Guam. And the newer 737 series aircraft can make the flights from LAX-HNL-GUM.

Her name is also a subtle nod to writer/producer Liz Sarnoff.

The glitch that is lighting up all the LOST blogs is what is up with Ben? Ben was shot and changed and taken to the Temple BEFORE the Incident. If the explosion of jughead is what caused the time fracture, how can we reconcile Ben being a normal Euro History teacher in 2004? Simple, Jughead did not do what we

I've never really liked Ben. So I'm ok with the harshness. Mostly, I hate his stupid band. He's obviously the most likely to end up back at Juniper Creek and has been for several seasons. It would be a nice bookend to Bill getting kicked off and then Bill's son being welcomed back.

Huh, I've never thought about the geography of "Big Love" before. I'm enjoying this thread. So when Barb drives from their house up to the casino, it could be a 2.5 hour drive? (Sandy to Pocatello). I'm not opposed to driving 2+ hours to gamble, mind you, but I still find it interesting. That's about right for

I don't think Michael could commit suicide because he was alive on the Island in the future. There's something about the Island where it can manage paradoxes and prevent them by being 'aware' of all present and past and future events. I know I'm just spitballing but that's what I always thought.
